Therapy for the relationships that matter most.

Relationship repair sessions

When hurt is leading the conversation, understanding can't find its way in. Together, we'll make space for both.

ABOUT relationship repair sessions

Sometimes the goal isn't to "fix" your family.

Sometimes the goal is finally feeling heard.

I offer family and relationship sessions for adults who want to navigate difficult conversations with greater understanding, honesty, and care. My work is especially meaningful for friends, adult siblings, mother–daughter and caregiver–adult child relationships, where love often exists alongside hurt, resentment, unmet needs, or years of miscommunication.

Rather than deciding who is right or wrong, I help each person better understand the other's lived experience. Many families have spent years talking without truly feeling understood. My role is to slow the conversation down, ask the questions that often go unasked, and create space where everyone can express themselves more openly.

Together we'll identify the intention behind the conversation before we begin. Whether your goal is repairing trust, setting healthier boundaries, navigating life transitions, healing old wounds, or simply learning how to communicate differently, that shared intention becomes our guide throughout the process.

My approach is collaborative, practical, and compassionate. I don't believe healthy relationships come from avoiding conflict. They come from learning how to move through conflict in ways that foster connection, accountability, and mutual understanding.

I help adult family members have the conversations they've been avoiding for years—and I guide them toward greater understanding, healthier communication, and meaningful repair.

Relationship repair sessions may be a good fit if you're looking to:

  • Navigate recurring conflicts that never seem to get resolved.

  • Improve communication between adult children and parents, siblings or friends.

  • Set boundaries while preserving the relationship.

  • Heal from misunderstandings and long-standing hurt.

  • Learn healthier ways of responding during difficult conversations.

  • Strengthen your relationship while honoring each person's individual experiences.

  • Desire to break generational patterns and cycles.

The goal isn't perfection. It's creating relationships where people feel seen, heard, respected, and better equipped to move forward together.

Not every important relationship is romantic.

Sometimes the relationship that needs the most care is the one between a mother and daughter, a mother and son, siblings, or other loved ones. When years of hurt, resentment, or misunderstanding take center stage, it can become nearly impossible to see the person sitting across from you.

My role isn't to decide who's right.

It's to help each person feel understood enough that they can begin understanding one another.

Together, we'll slow the conversation down, uncover the intentions beneath the conflict, and create space for empathy, accountability, and meaningful repair. Every session begins with one guiding question:

What is your intention behind having this conversation?

That question becomes our compass. Rather than getting pulled back into old arguments, we stay grounded in what matters most: the relationship you're hoping to build moving forward.

These sessions are ideal for adult family members or friends who want to move beyond repeating the same conflict and begin creating new ways of relating through honest conversation, clearer boundaries, and deeper mutual understanding.

WHat is the cost & duration of relationship repair sessions?

$265 | 90-minute Initial Session (Required)
Relationship Repair Sessions begin with 90-minute appointments to allow enough time for each person to feel heard without rushing the conversation. As the relationship evolves and communication becomes more effective, we may decide together that 60-minute follow-up sessions are appropriate. Every relationship is unique, and we'll determine the session length that best supports your goals.

$215-$265 | 60- or 90-minute Follow-Up Sessions
Depending on the goals for all parties involved, you can choose:

  • 60 minutes for check-ins, practicing communication skills, or following up on previous agreements.

  • 90 minutes for deeper conversations, conflict resolution, or discussions involving more emotionally charged topics.

do you accept insurance for Relationship Repair Sessions?

Relationship Repair Sessions are a private-pay service and are not billed through insurance.

Unlike individual therapy, these sessions focus on strengthening and repairing a relationship between two or more people rather than treating one person's mental health diagnosis. Because insurance requires services to be medically necessary for a single identified client and places limitations on treatment, these sessions fall outside of what most insurance plans cover.

This allows us to focus on what matters most: creating space for understanding, healthier communication, and meaningful repair, without the restrictions of insurance requirements.
