Anti-Oppressive Investment Structure
I offer an Anti-Oppressive Investment Structure informed by the work of Kenya Crawford, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
This model recognizes that access to resources is shaped by systemic inequities and invites clients to choose an investment within a set range that feels sustainable and aligned for them.
This approach supports equitable access to care while allowing me to maintain a practice rooted in cultural responsiveness, trauma-informed work, and collective care. Investment ranges are limited to ensure sustainability.
In a world that teaches us to overextend, self-abandon, and “push through,” therapy is a radical investment in yourself. It is an intentional choice to pause, reflect, and heal, especially for those who have spent years prioritizing others or surviving systems that were never built with them in mind.
This is not about paying for a service; it is about investing in support, care, and the unlearning of patterns that no longer serve you. Many clients come to therapy seeking relief and stay because they begin reclaiming their voice, worth, and agency.
Your investment honors the emotional labor of healing and allows for a space that centers your humanity, complexity, and cultural context.

How does the anti- oppressive investment fee structure work?
This anti-oppressive investment structure offers five thoughtfully created tiers that support both the sustainability of this work and broader access to therapy.
Redistribution – For clients with financial privilege who wish to contribute toward increased access for others.
Full Cost – The standard investment for therapy sessions.
Sustain – For those who can invest close to the full rate and need some added flexibility.
Solidarity – A lower investment option for clients with limited financial resources.
Reparations – For individuals most affected by systemic inequities and structural barriers to care.
