who am i as a clinical supervisor?

Clinical supervision is more than meeting licensure requirements, it's an opportunity to develop your clinical voice, deepen your confidence, and build a practice that aligns with your values.

As a Latina Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience, I provide supervision through an inclusive, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive lens. My approach is collaborative, relational, and rooted in curiosity rather than perfection. I strive to create a space where associate clinicians feel supported in exploring clinical challenges, navigating ethical dilemmas, processing the emotional impact of the work, and developing confidence in their therapeutic style.

Drawing from my experience working with adolescents, families, and adults across diverse communities, as well as my training in EMDR and Brainspotting, I support clinicians in integrating evidence-based interventions while remaining culturally responsive and grounded in the therapeutic relationship.

Whether you're building foundational clinical skills or refining your approach with more complex cases, supervision is designed to help you grow with intention and authenticity.

This May Be a Good Fit If You...

  • You question traditional Western mental health frameworks and want to practice in ways that honor culture, community, and lived experience.

  • You appreciate humor, humility, and yes...sometimes cussing in session.

  • You want a space where curiosity, humility, and critical thinking are valued over having all the "right" answers.

  • You understand that therapy is inherently political and recognize how systems, privilege, oppression, and power influence mental health.

  • You're looking for a supervisor who is down-to-earth, approachable, and believes supervision should feel collaborative, not intimidating.

  • Desire a supervisor who understands the complexities of working with marginalized communities.

  • You believe we can challenge one another while still leading with compassion.

  • You recognize that healing doesn't happen in a vacuum and want to understand how culture, identity, systemic oppression, and power dynamics shape the therapeutic relationship.
